Programmer for an '09

Hey guys

I am looking for a programmer for my '09 4.7 4x4

I want one that will not only give me more power (mostly mid range is what I am looking for) but will also give me the following:

- speed calibration
- shift point adjustment
- shift firmness adjustment

What is everyone using? and what works best?

These programmers will work:
  • Superchips 3841 (California approved)
  • Superchips 3842
  • Superchips 3865
  • Cortex 3950

The only difference between them is that the 3841 and 3842 are newer versions of the 3865 and 3950. (They work exactly the same though.) The cheapest way to get one is buy a used 3865, which usually pop up in the forum classifieds and also Craigslist and Ebay for around $200. If buying a used programmer, just make sure is is VIN unlocked.

I have the SC 3865, which seems to be the most popular for our Dakotas.
