Exclamation ECU Mix up

So my 92 when purchased had the incorrect ECU on it. This unit is for a 3 speed Auto tranny and so my 4 speed auto with over drive was being underused. After the previous owner realized his mistake he installed two rocker switches. These two control 4th and OD. Naturally because the ECU cannot tell the OD when to be on or off between the other gears it stalls if left on during stopping and will only work after 4th gear. Now the tricky part is that NO ONE makes this part anymore. All I have found is the same that I have (OE# 8741) I do not have a part number for the unit I need as they claim to not be sold anymore. Junk yards see Cat converters and ECUs first so chances of finding one are improbable to say the least. Does ANYONE know ANYWHERE I can find the ECU I need or even better a part number for the correct one. My truck is a 3.9 L V6. Thank you all

Update: Guys, I really need help with this. Due to the difference in the standard gear ratios between a 3 speed and 4 speed automatic my transmission has started slipping though first and second and it's getting progressively worse. I'm worried that my transmission and even engine are getting an excessive amount of wear from the confusion in the ECU.

nooo... that computer has nothing to do with the slippage, that trans is NOT electronically controlled except for the torque converter lockup. the toggle switches are unneeded. The ONLY ONLY application in that year that had a 3 speed auto was the full sized vans with the 3.9....
I would have to look, I may have a computer here for that, I'd look at a junkyard. should be able to get one cheaply. '92-93 would work, 94/95 might too as long a sit is the same engine.
the only difference in gear ratios in the 3 speed and 4 speed trans is the 4th gear is overdrive, the 1st 3 gears are exactly the same as the 3 gears in the 3 speed.
