Default Posible tranny swap

So I got a 1992 Dakota with a 5.2 in it. I just swapped the 5.2 in place of the stock 3.9. I have the stock tranny (A500) and don't think it will last to long with the extra horses. I have read a few threads here on swapping a 5 speed in. I was wondering if anyone had info on this topic.

I have seen a few 5 speeds in the yards around me in the 3.9's I know the bolt up and work but what would I need and how would I go about this swap when it comes time.

Clutch pedal assembly; transmission; transmission mount; drive shaft; clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing (which is part of the slave cylinder assembly); flywheel to fit the 5.2 and pilot bearing (may need to have the crank machined to take the pilot bearing, but odds are not); hydraulic assembly (I'd buy new and pre-bled) that includes master cylinder, slave cylinder, and hydraulic lines; at least 2 suitcases of beer (to be applied to you and your assistant AFTER you finish for a day - do NOT down 12 beers and then try to install!!); boot inside; cutting tool to make a hole for the gearshift.

If 4WD, add the 4WD transfer case and front driveshaft.

Some tweaking of the wiring.

Possibly the manual ECU to avoid the CELs from the non-existent torque converter and OD solenoids not affecting the engine speed.

This is probably not a comprehensive list.

Thanks for the info. I think I will start buying parts and pieces for now and try to throw it in some week when I have the time.
