Squeeking Front Susension

the squeeking was driving us nuts, turns out it was front lower ball joints, a common problem with these trucks
my local guy changed them both in about three hours plus he also installed the new struts I had already bought, biggest issue was the lower strut bolt on the passenger side, it was firmly seized to the steel sleeve in the rubber bushing

the squeak is gone, truck handles so much nicer, I just wish they had installed greasable ball joints at the factory

the ball joints were an easy install(with a vehicle lift), undo the bolt, hit the spindle with a mallet to pop the tapered joint, remove the circlip that retains the balljoint to the cast iron suspension arm and remove the balljoint with a BIG hammer
