Bumper chroming question
Hey,
Just a quick question folks. I am about to do something with my front bumper. I want to make it chrome, like on the newer RAMs.
And I was wondering, what is your recommendation on making this work?
I've got several ideas on how to make ny bumper chrome (or at least, chrome-looking):
1. galvanic plating (will last forever, yet is quite costly),
2. chrome-looking vinyl (I like this option out of teh whole list, yet I do not really believe it will look okay in a year),
3. painting the bumper chrome. I'd rather do paint, if there are is a chrome paint (not silver, not grayish - I wanted chrome). So I'd be grateful for recommendations on how to make that plastic thing look chrome.
