Hey all, hope you can help! First post here...
I purchased a 2006 Dakota a few months back and cannot seem to get the cruise to engage.
Does anyone know if there is an "engaged" light on the dash of any kind? When I turn on the cruise with the steering wheel button, I see a light that says cruise, and that means it's powered on. But, is there a second light or signal that it's engaged and the electronics are working when I push "set"? If this is true, then it may lead to the button/switch being bad. If not, then maybe it's the diaphragm, vacuum hose or something more mechanical to look into. I hate to put a $50 switch into it just to learn the old one may have been working, just no indicator to prove it was working.
