Default Overheating in Summer

I have a 2005 Dak 4.7 Laramie AWD. My question to Dak nation, is overheating a common problem with everyone else? Radiator, water pump, fan and clutch, thermostat, practically everything has been replaced. I'm wondering if a electric radiator fan might work?

My truck always runs just a tick below the 1/2 point mark, year round.

That's the normal range. Which I get most of the time. When it gets above 80 degrees I start having problems. Are you completely stock as far as the cooling system?

If you have AC there should be the extra fan. That being said the driven fan should be enough to keep it cool on a hot day. Even tho you said fan clutch is new that would be my 1st guess. Do you get that annoying loud fan noise when you 1st start it? How easy is it to spin the fan when its cold? My 4.7 in a dakota heat gauge never changes whether it below zero or 100F. There are some guys that take off the clutch fan and only run on the electric. Im not brave enough for that.
