Stuff a Viper in it
I know this isn't an internal engine question but saw no where else that aligned to this question. Has anyone tried dropping a Viper motor into a Dakota? My 2008 is coming up on 200K miles and I thought "how fun" would that be to do a Viper conversion. Haven't researched engine bay dimensions yet so if anyone has heard of this before, let me know. Thanks

It's been done on a Gen 2 Dakota, I think it was an 02. But more common is stuffing a Hemi in there, there are a bunch of threads on it on the various forums. One member swapped a 3.9 Cummins engine in his 08.
