Hi Guys, having a problem with the front lift on the Dakota. It has a 3" spacer on top of the coil. This has caused the upper control arm to ride on the bump stop. I have read on here where others have done this lift and never read any problems like this, which is why I went ahead and did it. So if anyone has any idea why or how to solve this issue I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

If the control arm is riding on the bump stop, it doesn't matter what you've read, you have too much lift. Your options are:
Get rid of the 3" spacer and get a shorter spacer, or cut the bump stop, but this will not provide you much travel and produce a metal to metal bang. Or live with it.

My suggestion would be get a shorter spacer, no more than 2 inches, and if you want more height, add in a body lift.

Or if you want a real suspension lift and can afford the cost of the parts and labor; http://www.doetsch-shocks.com/17.asp
