Hi, getting a little cooler here lately. Old Lady Winter's coming back...Tomorrow I'll replace that heater core I've been putting off since june. Two good things about it tho, I'm not in a big hurry so that always helps and I did one years ago in my other not-to-be-named truck so experience should help. What the hell, probably be a good time to look at the wipers that aren't really wipers when they just lay at the bottom of the windshield.( fuses and relays good so far.) Anyway, just got the garage boxes and benches all set up in our new place so after a few errands in the morning it's on. talk to later

It's a heck of a job, but like your wipers, you can take care of a lot of little things while you're at it. I recommend you replace all the behind-the-dash light bulbs you can, including instrument panel. Also, while you're in the heater box, it is a good time to replace the blower motor (about $50), and check the associated electrical connections.
