1995 Dodge Dakota Heating Problems

I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota with the 3.9L V6. I have no heat at all. So today I swapped the thermostat and started it and let it run for a good 30 minutes and still no heat. What could be wrong? My temp gauge stayed between a quarter and a half.

might need to flush the heater core; I'm sittin inside in the warm temps watching football debating whether I wanna go out into the cold and do that to my 94. I oughtta do it now before the "important" game starts; that being the packers/Giants.... being a lifetime BEARS fan I hope the Packers LOSE.I'd have rather see the Lions win than the pack.

I posted in another thread the results of my flush job, on my 94; along with the "how to" I now actually have to turn the heat "down"!
