2001 2-Door Body Damage

In a recent accident, need to fix it to good as new to pass an inspection to the province I just moved to. Door, rocker, and panel all damaged, nor frame or mechanical damage. Does anybody have any advice? I love this truck, it runs great, but I don't want to spend thousands at a body shop. I do have a friend capable of doing lots of work, would we need to replace the whole cab?
