Hello
I have a 2002 Dakota, V8, rear wheel drive
Front disc brakes
Rear drum brakes

ABS light is blinking and beeping constantly (the red brake light is NOT on)

The brakes are a little spongy. I also noticed upon testing the brakes this morning that when I press the brakes firmly, the rear (feels more like the right) brakes take about 1/3 of a second to engage.
Front brakes engage immediately, but can this noted delay trigger the ABS light?

The blinking and beeping is annoying. I removed the ABS 40A fuse, which is causing the brakes to be even spongier.

Things I replaced so far:
1. ABS pump to the left of master cylinder
2. Replaced/flushed fresh brake fluid in the entire system twice
3. Master cylinder replaced
4. Replaced the brake booster

No change was noted even after performing all of the above.
Need help!

ive had this for years. no abs on my 4x4, no cruise control as well. basically i tryed a pcm swap one day. and the abs now has lost its pcm connection ( its like this.. vin-2-vin parts that communicate... info & settings -tires sizes. have been cleared or messed.) i pluged in a ram 4.7 pcm and now i have to find sombody or a dealer to reprogram the abs module with my tire size.
i hope my situation may give you insight that the blinking light could possibly be an ABS programming problem
