As you can tell by the post number I am definitely a newbie here and the answer to my question is probably known by every Dakota owner but me.
I need to know the bolt pattern size for the 6 hole wheels on my 1991 Dakota. I know its definitely smaller than Chevrolet. My plan is to adapt a set of 6 hole Chevy Ralley wheels with an adapter, whether I order a set or make a set.

the bolt pattern for the 91 Dakota is 6-114

it is a 6 on 114.3 or a 6 on 4.5 inch with a medium offset. the only other vehicle with it is the durango.
Yes. You would wonder why Chrysler's Dodge Division would arrive at
that pattern for a light duty truck like the Dakota rather than the standard
5 bolt pattern.

Maybe it's because of the Timken bearing front wheel hub they use..
or some other reason...as it doesn't make a lot of sense (in my mind)
to have 6 bolts on a 15 inch wheel. :confused:
