on my 2000 Dakota, V6 3.9L, the check engine light came on, and the diagnostic tool indicates an occasional error with the camshaft position sensor. I've located it, discovered it inside the distributor, and wanted first to just unplug and reconnect the plugs on it. However, there's very little space to get both hands into that area, and have been unable to pull the plugs apart. Looking at the throttle position sensor to determine the design of the clip that holds that together, I assumed that the CPS would use the same design to keep that plug connected. However, I've still been unable to pull the plug. Is there a technique, or tool that makes it easier to disconnect?
