I'm going to remove and rebuild both control arms from both sides of my 2000 rwd dakota. Does it make any difference which, top or bottom, I remove first? Is it better to remove one or the other first?

I always thought that it did, but I just looked in my (new to me) '03 Dak FSM, & it gives the procedures for removing & replacing either control arm without specifying that removing the other, first, will facilitate the job.

FSM = Factory Service Manual.

For purchase, Bishko Books ( Bishko Books, Repair Manuals, Owners Manuals, Parts Books & Sales Brochures (autobooksbishko.com) ) is the authorized reproducer for Mother Mopar. They have them in paper and on disc.

You can also sometimes find them in paper and disc on eBay used.

The discs can be bought from the dealership and from retailers like Summit Racing.

And - if you're lucky - you MIGHT even find them on line for download. But I'd vet the web site BEFORE I "just download"ed it.

I got mine (it was paper, not disc) on Ebay. $84 with tax & delivery. Obviously you will want one for an '00 Dakota.
