Hello all,

I'm looking to chip my engine, but can't seem to find any info on chips that actually work and I'm quite hesitant to try a $70 job that just plugs in the OBD2 port.

Of course more HP and torque is great, but what I'd really like is better fuel economy, I know that's likely an idiotic thing to expect from a dodge engine but.....

It's an 08, 3.7L(4X4) btw with an auto that I would love to bolt a 6sp onto instead

'Chips' do absolutely nothing but take your money, it is amazing how much money is thrown away on these garbage products. A 'Programmer' or 'Tuner' does actually work, but none of those options will show you any mileage per gallon increases. Hypertech had a programmer for the 3.7, not sure if it worked on the 2008 though.

Google 'Fuel saving tips' for any possible bump in MPGs.

Get ahold of hemifever and get a tune for the diablosport tuner. They sell the tuner with CAN tunes or they can write you a tune for it.
