hi I am new to this forum I have a 96 dakota 4x4 with 318 tbi, originally it had 3.9 v6. I blew the tranny and I am going to rebuild it. I am looking for some information about identification number PK52117685 1367 2734.
My previous research told me it was a 46 rh but just want to confirm it with the id number. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

the 46RH (and the 46RE) are updated A727 TorqueFlite transmissions with an overdrive gear, H for hydraulic controlled governor and the E for electronically controlled governor
they werent used with the 3.9l V6

you probably want an A500 type transmission. they are also known as the 40RH/42RH or 40RE/42RE/44RE

hope that helps!

The easiest way to tell a 44re/rh/500 from a 46re/rh/518 is the little bump on the side of the pan. The 46rh has it, 44rh doesn't.
