i have alot of dents on my new 98 dakota rt.

ill post pics of the truck tomorrow but i need tips on popping the dents out,

i have 3 what looks to be gouges in my roof that are rusty. maybe a tree branch fell on it?

im just wondering if i should just sand and fill with bondo? or try and massage the metal to fix it?

bondo sells a dent puller(huge suction cup type thing for about $9 at walmart and that should do the trick for the big dents and i would just bondo the small ones and paint over the bondo when it dries.

heres a link for bondo tips if you want it it might help you a lot

Depends on if you are trying to avoid painting or if you just want them less noticeable. In which case just try the suction cup thing. if you are going to repaint, get a dent puller, get the dents out as best u can and then bondo, prime, paint.
