Hi all. I have purchased a leveling kit from Trailmaster and some new rubber(265/75R16). They are a very aggressive tread and much bigger than the 245/70R16 that I have on now. My question is when I install the 2" front leveling kit and tires do I need to also change my struts? (longer)

Glad you decided to join us.

Ditto for me on the lifting. I'm sure some of our 4x4 folks will drop by soon. Good luck!

Welcome to the DakotaZ from NC! I've not lifted any bodies but if it extended your shocks/struts with the kit, my guess would be yes but I can't say for sure.

I run 265/75R 16's on my 01 I just cranked the torsion bars up which gave me enough clearance. no need to change shocks. I don't know about gen.III, gen. II has shocks no struts.
