I overheated my 2004 Dak 4.7 engine and now have coolant in the oil. Motor has 165k miles so I want to replace it. Does anyone know if a 2007 engine will bolt in plug and play with no tuning required? I know I will probably have to get a TB adaptor and swap over my sensors but anything beyond this?

I know they changed over between the JTEC and the NGC system I think in 2002 or 2003, which involved different tone wheels for the crankshaft position and camshaft position sensors. As long as you have an NGC system, I think you should be okay. JTEC had three connectors on the PCM and NGC has four.
