Newby here, with a tech question I can't find the answer to. 97 Dakota w/ 3.9 V6. On the right side exhaust (pass side), on the head , how far in is the hole drilled on the #4 piston exhaust bolt. All the other bolt holes have about a1/2" beyond the threads where the bolt stops. Is numb. 4 different? Can I drill threw the bolt an find a small space behind it? I don't want to go threw the block...lol

Well...let me answer my own question. It's the same , about 3/4" of threads , then a 1/4" beyond that. So you can drill completely threw the bolt an have room to spare, very little, but it's there.
On a side note , just got it a few days ago ,an thanks for letting me in. This forum is a great resource.
