Hello all,
Im new and have a question. I have a sudden major coolant leak behind the intake manifold. anyone know where that might be at exactly and how to fix it? I can see all the freeze plugs and they are all fine. I suspect it could be a blown out seal on the intake manifold spraying coolant all over the distributer. any thoughts? Thank you.

Have you checked the two freeze plugs under the flywheel/flexplate? I bet it's leaking from one of those.

However, spraying the distributor? The plugs are a bit higher than that.

I'd get a cooling system pressure tester set from AutoZone (or alternative, on the Loan-A-Tool or ToolRent program) and pressurise it and see where it's leaking.

Back there, it could be a heater hose blown out.
