my 88 dakota hesitates from start and at wide open throttle it acts like i turn the key off if i let up just a little it gets up and goes. along with other issues I have replaced the fuel pump, map sensor, fuel pressure reg changed the fuel filter twice new plugs and wires new cap and rotor. no codes show when cycling the key. I checked the tps it has 4.8 volts and has a steady increase in ohms when opening throttle. the egr works but i will replace it because the diaphram in the dash pot is questionable and as far as i know they only come as a kit (dash pot/egr) After i replaced the fuel pressure reg it wouldn't idle but before i thought to check the vacuume line for fuel i checked the distributor and got the timing off, is timing 10 dgs before tdc? that is where i set it and i did unplug the temp sensor, im just wondering if maybe it's a timing issue. thanks for the help

I'm sure someone will be along who can help. Unfortunately your issue is beyond my capabilities. Good luck!
