Hey got a 2000 dakota 2wd. About a week ago my brakes were dragging causing them to glaze over. I bought new calipers, rotors, and pads for the front and installed them. Took it for a test drive and it felt fine didn't make any noises and drives good but after about 15 minutes i stopped and could smell burning brake pads again? What else would cause this?

Bad hoses; one common failure mode is that the inner rubber is flaking, so you can pass fluid to the caliper, but it blocks fluid going back.

Bad combo valve, but that's a LOT rarer.
