I have a 2004 Dakota I'm putting a new radio in. Instead of using an adaptor I cut the factory plug off. I bought a new plug, but the wires aren't the same. Where can I find a wiring diagram of the factory plug? Thanks for help.

Did you check on the back of the old radio?

How about rewiring to put the old plug back on, and then using the adapter?

I don't have 2004, but I do have 2003 wiring. I've attached those two pages from the 2003 factory service manual.

Might be wrong; premium wiring is different. But since you didn't say, I presume base.

I found a 2003 and took the plug from it, 8 of the wires are the same, the other 8 don't match. Gonna try and find a 2004.
