Got a 99 dakota, V6, manula, my truck luggs all the way til I hit bout 2500 RPMs then it takes off like it should, it has new spark plugs, and air filter is clean, I dont think I have a cylinder out beings that its got power after 2500 RPMs. I was thinking of a new Fuel Filter but I wanted some input before I spent money on something that doesnt need to be done, Thanks for the help.

If fuel volume were a problem I would suspect a problem in the higher RPM range where more fuel is required but checking the volume and pressure is still a good idea.

I am going to go and just have the Fuel Filter changed so either fix the problem and just because it probably could use it, But have you heard of a problem like this before? Any other suggestions if my fuel filter isnt the problem?
