I recently had my manual lumbar support knob break free from the support that runs across the seat. I have researched this and many people are talking about paying from $40 to $400 to get this fixed. I recently found a cheap fix that took about 30 minutes to do and that is because the hardware store is 10 minutes away. All you do is drill a whole in the middle groove of the screw in portion (where the other piece broke off). Insert an eye-bolt and then use a nut to secure it in the groove. Then run the lumbar cotter pin through the eye and reattach to the lumbar support adjustment knob. This may sound confusing but it is very easy to understand if you have ever taken the lumbar apart. Hopefully this saves someone a whole lot of cash and heartache.
