Hi im Nicole im new haha but not a new dakota owner. I have a 2000 dakota sport v8 4x4 in white with good year wrangler territories. I love my dakota but im starting to find that now that its 11 years old its starting to slowly have things go on it. Compressor here, spark plugs there, 2 new hubs, what's next? haha still love her even tho she has the odd problem haha now a #3 cylinder is miss firing oh man! i hope i didnt buy a lemon :(

posible fix to the miss fire

Hi I just had the same problem but cilinder five, I was told to check my wires. I did a compleat tune up[plugs, wires, cap, and just to be safe i also changed the coil pack]. That did me a world of good and haven't had any problems since[nock on wood]anywase wecome and hope it works out for you.
