I have a 96 Dakota, modded 3.9 larger cam, 1.7 rockers. 30 over block, headers, 3" high flow cat to a 1 in 2 out flowmaster.
Engine runs & sounds great,BUT no one in my area seems to be able or wants to tune it, so i have yet to know exactly how well it will run.
Now the ECM ha started giving me issues, I've replaced coil, new plugs, entire distribitor, and I'm on the 3rd new crank sensor.
it will fire right up and idle just fine, but there seems to be an issue with the cam & crank sensors staying in sync. Its making me crazy.
It will start snapping & popping, lose power and then just shut off, but then start backup when it finds the signal. oh and ihave replaced the ECM also,
and it changed nothing. So thats where I'm at. all comments welcome

Yeah, those electronics seem pretty proprietary for Chrysler vehicles. Doesn't make it any easier when the part is $55 at the Mopar dealership and it's $27 at an auto supply store.
