Hi all,

I’ve been in the market for a good truck to tow my 20ft crest liner boat and the daks caught my eye, found one that checked out during pre-purchase inspection with low 70kmi and swooped her up earlier this month. Been following this forum for a minute and reading up on what to inspect/common issues/maintenance/etc so thank you all so far!

06 Dakota TRX4 quad SLT 4.7HO AT (really wanted a manual)

I’ll post pix once I finish with cleaning/tuning her up a bit she had very minimal service records, already changed oil/filter/plug gasket, flushed coolant system, upgraded headlight/tail light housings/cargo lamp with HiDs/LEDs, replaced timing belts (they were a little whiney) and removed an ugly spoiler the previous owner mounted on the tonneau. Still need to flush the brake lines (thinking of upgrading to some power stop rotors and pads) and flush the transfer case fluid. Any other reccs? Thanks all!

Welcome to the forums, sounds like you've got a nice truck! I would recommend PowerStop
