Here I am again, with another problem.

I'm working on replacing the oxygen sensor that is BEFORE the Cat. Upstream I think they said. I'm pretty good at replacing these types parts. It's just the hard core engine mechanics I have a problem with.

But I digress; I got a code at AutoZone for the sensor. The engine was doing that chug-chug thing, But, I simply cannot get the old sensor to unscrew. It is in there TIGHT. I've sprayed it with WD-40 and everything. Between being in a hard to get to spot and the cramped space, coupled with the thing in there tight, it won't budge. The only thing I haven't tried is a blow torch to heat the thing up. The truck actually runs better than it did before I disconnected the old one, I'm guessing because it was sending faulty information and now it's no information.

I talked to one shop around here that didn't even want to touch the thing. Another said I could stop by after work tomorrow. I'd like to do it myself, but as it is now, I also don't want to damage the threads.

Anyone hear of any miracles? Or any other suggestions?
