so after installing a new engine (whew, glad that's done), the pcv valve had to be replaced because the old one broke during removal. but this new one makes a noise, I thought it just needed breaking in or something, so I drove it anyway. but after a few monthes, it still makes the same noise. so I replaced it hoping it was faulty, but this other new one does the same thing.

the noise it makes wen idling is a soft static noise. nothing to bad.
but wen climing a hill and reaching 2500-3000 rpm, the noise is like metal and plastic slamming against each other at insane speeds, IT IS LOUD AND FAST! like a buzzing.

the brand that I've tried is FRAM, wat is the original brand of pcv valve? would the stock brand fix this? it dosnt seem to me like it would, but that is my next idea.

any suggestions?

ps: sorry if this is in the wrong thread/whatever, I tried searching the forumz.

Sometimes the after market valves are noisy, it doesn't hurt anything but........you could always go back to the factory valve from the dealership.
