My truck over heats when I sit at a Stop light, stop sign, etc. Im pretty positive its where it has a Manual fan with a clutch. Im going to replace this fan with an aftermarket electric fan but i just have a few questions.
1. What size of electric Fan should i get?
2. What kind of thermostate should i get for it, the probe or the Screw in?
3. Should i use a push or pull fan?
I would really appreciate it if someone that is familiar with this to help me out. Thanks!!!!!

1) Get the biggest fan that will physically fit, one that draws thru it the most CFM's

2) It doesn't matter, so long as it works. I'd also install a manual switch, to override the thermostat switch.

3)I'd go with a puller, as without the mechanical fan, there will be more space on that side of the radiator.

So If i wanted to get the Threaded one, where would i screw it in at? The housing for the cooling thermostat?
And im sorry but when you say puller, does that mean put in in the engine bay and pull the air through?
