Idk what is wrong with the truck. I have a 93 dodge Dakota, auto with a 3.9 V6. Dang near everything under the hood has been replaced. It seems like the carburetor might be acting up. Sometimes spraying it starts it up but the truck backfires and does a jerking motion when it warms up when driving as it shifts gears and spurts and sputters and will die when sitting at a light or just sitting unless you keep reving it some. However today it wouldn’t start like it should’ve. Let’s see if I can remember what has been replaced. Fuel pump and filter, and yes it gets good pressure, tires including spare, alternator, plugs/wires, rack & pin, front shocks, brake pads, water pump, rotor & distributor, believe also the thermostat/O2 sensor, light bulbs, window motor. Etc..if anything else. But only thing we can figure is carburetor or the coil needs to be relocated if it’s getting too hot. Also air filter cover has been replaced. And another water reservoir tank I guess..? Lol.. anyway, we can’t figure it out. I’m trying to sell as is cause I’m tired of working on it and am a ikr to move so I can’t take it with me anyway. So any ideas what it could be? Thanks.
