New to the forums as of today.
Our '97 Dakota 4x4 is wandering back and forth a bit. I've checked the inner and outer tie rod ends and the steering wheel shaft U-joints and all seem fine. I adjusted the steering gear box which took a little play out of the steering wheel, but the truck is still wandering from side to side. If I were to guess, I'd say that the gear box needs replaced. Just wondering about your ideas for a fix.
