I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the steel tube with rubber grommets on the ends, that spans the left and right frames under the rear bumper? I am just curious what it could be. Thanks
Found this on another site:
"the Dakota Quad Cab uses a mass dampener located between the frame rails, immediately forward of the rear bumper. This damper is used to address NVH [noise, vibration, harmonics] issues."
