I have been searching for brake mods and came across this. I knew the hemi rams had it we call it the dead head switch, but i didn't know we had it with the 4.7's and 5.9's. went down to the air strip to experiment. seems to be true. going to find this "wire " and do the snip mod.any one else know anything? can i get a heads up. so far i think its the #12, or #14 pin on the TCM plug.

torque management system. When you go wide open throttle the tms reduces the torque going to the back tires by slipping the clutch bands in the transmission or cutting timing depending on year and model. on gen.II dakotas it is by slipping the transmission bands. the "snip mod" is done by cutting the input wire from the transmission control unit to the cpu therefore 100% better shifting no torque loss. in theory, I have not done it, I need more info myself still investigating. If any one can post pics and facts. I will do it to my Dak. and report back in with the results.
