I haul it with a '93 4X4 Extended cab with a 5.2 auto.
I add an addition trans cooler, (I figure if 1 is good, 2 is WAY better)!
I haul it from N.E. Pa. to Clayton N.Y. (220 miles give er take).
She does well, like to be run @ 60-65.
On hills or when I see a grade, I'll shut off the O.D.
Gas mileage?
Well, my gauge doesn't work from full to 1/4.
But, at Preble N.Y. rest stop off interstate 81 going north, I add 5 gallons (@ 110 miles).
On the way down at Witney Point, the gauge reads 1/4, so I add fuel there, (@ 130 miles).
I figure I'm getting a lean 10-12 mpg, hauling.
That sell non E, high test in Clayton.
If I drop that in, my truck empty get 20 mpg on the highway! (17 with E gas).
I does tow well, but not a speed demon.
I also towed my buddies 19' fishing boat. Boat n trailer- #1700 and change.
Got pretty much same fuel MPG, but it did much better on the hills!

If you want non ethanol high grade on the way up the exit after Preble, Tully NY, sells it.
Maybe I'll start using it, I only get 17 mpg empty with a tonneau cover on flat highway lol (V6)

tanks!
I'll remember that next time! (Fat Nancy's Bait shop sells it also, Polaski? exit).
I usually fill a 5 gallon can er 3, (my wife like that when I carry 15 gallons in her Honda CRV)!:D haul it home. (gas smuggling)!;)
When the truck is in Clayton, I only use that fuel, (fill then boat-fill the truck).
I always hoped more stations would sell all the way down here, but noooooooo!
