I have an 04 3.7 dakota 5 speed. I was getting a code p2302, changed the coil pack, changed spark plugs, got a new throttle position sensor, installed a new starter. The truck will not go over 2k rpms it will drive but will start bucking around after 2k rpm.

Does anyone have any idea of what would be wrong?

Run a vacuum gauge on it; one thing that can cause such is a plugged exhaust system, and if you start the truck and the vacuum drops down to 0, it's probably the exhaust plugged.

Not a 2 second drop, but over several seconds or a minute or two drop to 0.

Did replacing the coil get rid of the p2302 code? Check the Air filter housing for a rats nest. Seriously though it could also be a partially clogged fuel filter. Could be starving for fuel.
