I've modified the kegger. Certainly helps above 3000rpm. I really don't want to lose bottom end torque as I've got the 3:55 gear. But the PCM is definitely a chokepoint now. Full length 2.25 duals, shorty headers thru a 40 flowmaster. Modified kegger, CAI, relocated IAT, MSD ignition, relocated coil to firewall by distributor to shorten coil wire, 180 therm, and a Transgo shift kit. My PCM has adjusted well so far but I believe more power can be had with a more aggressive timing curve.
I put a Hughes intake on my 96 5.2. Beautiful intake, at the nice low cost of cough! $600 cough! But I love it. It revs quick and clears a ton of extra space on top of the engine. Getting behind the throttle body has never been easier! 20 to 21 mpg, depends how much I keep my foot out of it.
Howdy, looking to upgrade my exhaust system front to back. Thinking cat forward performance headers and straight dual exhaust all the way back.

Any power gain?
What mufflers did you use?
How does the cat forward system work compared to cat-back?
Any need to...

Hey folks. I have a 08 trx4 and my (single exhaust) tail pipe has rusted through where it meets the muffler. All I can find is dual exhaust replacements, no single. Is the "dual exhaust right side" tail pipe compatible? I'm lost... Please help
Hey fellow Dakota owners, I am new here and I need a bit of help/advice on choosing a new muffler for my 2007 Dakota ST 3.7l V6.
When I purchased the truck used from a dealership, the vehicle had the stock exhaust and me being me, all my past vehicles always had aftermarket exhaust/mufflers. I...
