I'm planning on getting some snow tires for the winter for my 2005 Dakota ST 4x4 but am having difficulty in finding the rim specs as well as max tire size that will work without leveler/body lift. I did a number of searches to look for this data but got conflicting data. Currently, I have 5 bolt rims with 245/70R-16 tires, and it looks like the bolt spacing might be around 5.5", but until I pull a wheel I won't know for sure. Various sites have listed 6 bolt rims for this truck with 4.5" spacing, 5 bolt rims with 4.5" spacing, and a couple of others. I'd appreciate getting the real data on the rims, including offset if this is known, and whether 265/70R-17 wheels will fit without rubbing with OEM suspension (no lift). Thanks
